Bees & Bears Quilt

A few years ago, I decided to take on the challenge of the Jelly Roll Race. I went on a search for the perfect fabric. I wanted fun and exciting! Bees and Bears was it!!
This quilt top is so warm and inviting. The funny thing is I rolled this top back up and put it away for a later date.
Well here we are at a later date. I started digging through all my stash of recyclables. Now I made a decision that this is going to be my quilt. I hadn't really made one for me...oh sure, a few of my previous quilts I said were mine but they ended up sitting somewhere or given away. Not used by me at all.
I love this fabric so much that I cannot bear to part with it. So, back to the stash...I found a temper pedic mattress cover. We had slept on that mattress only a few times so that cover is like NEW. I took out my scissors and went to taking apart that cover. I saved the zipper and top. The rest I trashed as I do not see that I would use it for anything in the future.
Now this cover has a bit of weight to it...which is one of the reasons I really liked it. And it is already quilted so the only thing I will have left after attaching the top is to tie the quilt. I am really excited!!
Oh drats! The camera needs charged....will have to wait for the rest of the story....
